PIPL – the Chinese data protection law
The Chinese Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) shows many similarities with the GDPR. European companies are also forced to act.
Vasiliki Paschou holds a law degree from the University of Athens and an LL.M. from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. She wrote her Master’s thesis on “The permissibility of surveillance in the workplace – illustrated by the example of video surveillance”.
Before joining activemind.legal, Vasiliki Paschou completed her legal traineeship at a law firm in Athens. She gained experience in data protection law while working at the Greek Data Protection Authority, as well as in the legal team of a large start-up in Munich. Vasiliki Paschou is a certified data protection officer (IHK).
