Definitions in Spanish data protection law

Organic Law 3/2018 introduces a different term for ‘data subject’ than the one used in the GDPR. Whereas, the Spanish translation of the GDPR refers to the data subject as an ‘interesado’ [lit. ‘interested person’ or ‘person of interest’], Organic Law 3/2018 uses the term ‘afectado’ [‘affected person’].

No other definitions are provided in the national legislation.
