Special provisions on record-keeping of processing activities are contained in § 49 DSG with regard to the processing of personal data for security police purposes.
Since the GDPR, there is no obligation in Austria for the reimbursement of Data Processing Register Regulation notifications (data processing registers) to the data protection authority and it is incumbent on the controller, under the conditions of the GDPR, to manage his or her own records of processing activities.
